Dr. Gary A. Raiczyk is one of the staff veterinarians at Healthy Paws Veterinary Center. He has been serving the pets of the North Texas area for the last 11 years. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, he also obtained a Master's Degree in Biosciences prior to his veterinary studies. His 23 years experience as an owner, emergency clinician & associate veterinarian provide a comprehensive background in caring for your pet. |
His special interests are internal medicine, dermatology and surgery. Dr. Raiczyk is a member of the local, state and national veterinary medical associations and keeps current on all new advances in veterinary medicine by continuing education seminars, journals and telemedicine. He has been a past recipient of a "Veterinarian Of The Year" award from a local veterinary association for his outstanding contributions to veterinary medicine, and nominated "Boudreaux", a search and rescue dog, the winner of the Texas Animal Hall of Fame in 2000.
Dr. Raiczyk is currently the medical director of Golden Retriever Rescue of North Texas, and a past member of the board of directors for Search One Rescue. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Raiczyk enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two daughters. He also enjoys travel, music, and sports, in addition to caring for his 3 cats and 2 dogs at home.

Dr. Jeffrey Stillie is a 2002 graduate of the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He worked as an associate veterinarian in a high-quality practice in Ohio before relocating with his family to the North Texas area. In addition to caring for all of your canine and feline family members, he has a special interest in reptiles as well! Dr. Stillie is a very dedicated veterinarian, and is also a member of the local, state and national veterinary medical associations.

When not at Healthy Paws Veterinary Center, Dr. Stillie enjoys family time with his wife (who is also a veterinarian in the area) and son. His recreational activities include hiking, camping and caring for his menagerie of pets at home which consists of 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 salamander, birds, and reptiles.

Dr. Alexis Willingham is a 2005 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She grew up on a dairy farm in the North East Texas town of Sulphur Springs, where she was exposed to veterinary medicine from an early age. Both of her parents and now her younger sister have been in the veterinary profession. Through vet school, she had the opportunity to do a summer rotation in Ghana, West Africa setting up an animal welfare society, and was able to complete her externship at a veterinary practice in Orbost, Australia. |
| After graduation, she worked several years in a mixed animal practice just North of Denton. She and her husband, Joe, recently relocated to Little Elm. She is a member of the local, state, and national veterinary medical associations. Dr. Willingham's veterinary interests include internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and endocrinology. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Willingham looks forward to getting to know you and your four-legged family members. |
| Dr. Lauren Shores is a 2008 graduate of the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. As the daughter of a veterinary neurosurgeon, animals have always been an extremely important part of her life, and she has had many opportunities in veterinary medicine throughout her childhood and education. During veterinary school, Dr. Shores studied at Michigan State University in medical and surgical oncology, assisted in many surgical procedures, and completed advanced courses in small animal surgery and neurology. Each year since 2001, she travels to Honduras with the Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi for a medical mission trip as a translator and veterinarian for both large and small animals in the village. Dr. Shores is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP), as well as the state and national veterinary medical associations. In her spare time, she plays co-ed softball and is a performing member of The Frisco Ballet. Dr. Shores is new to Texas this year and is enjoying meeting all your pets! |
