Surgical Services: For the safety and well-being of your pet, all patients receive a pre-surgical examination, an intravenous catheter and pre-surgical pain medication, which is included in the cost of the surgery.  Although it is a highly recommended option for all patients, our senior patients (7 and over) have mandatory pre-anesthetic bloodwork and intravenous fluids with all procedures.  We use the safest injectable/inhalation anesthetics available, and all patients have a breathing tube placed.   Patients are monitored during surgery with a pulse oximeter, ECG, and a respiratory monitor.
